When SELF needs attention
You may find yourself feeling jealous of others or insecure about your own worth. Comparison is loud. It can be hard to know what you want separate from what others expect of you.
When SELF is strong
You know your worth without needing it confirmed by others. You set boundaries from a place of clarity rather than fear. You can be fully present in relationships because you are not lost in them.
Moving back toward the struggling side is not failure. That is the practice. The declaration exists for exactly those moments.
SELF is the foundation. Every other Habit flows through it.
SELF is not selfishness. It is the practice of knowing who you are, what you value, and what you need — and letting that knowledge lead every relationship you have. You cannot give what you do not have. You cannot protect what you cannot see. Every other Habit in this framework depends on how well you know and care for yourself first.
SELF feeds every other Habit. TRUTH depends on it. TRUST depends on it. When any Habit is struggling, the answer almost always lives somewhere in SELF first.
Strengths
What you do well. What is uniquely yours. Your USPs. The things that flow most naturally through you when you are not performing.
Shadow
The parts of you that act out under pressure. Not shameful — informative. Your shadow is the part of you that needs the most love, not the least attention.
Spirit
Your connection to something larger than yourself. Community. Meaning. Others. The felt sense of being part of something that matters beyond your individual life.
Boundaries
What you will and will not accept. What you need to protect yourself and stay whole. Not walls — containers that make real intimacy possible.
